About
Welcome to Stick's Tavern, a delightful dining spot nestled in Chaska, MN. Located at 6940 Dahlgren Rd, Stick's Tavern presents an inviting blend of comfort food and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it an ideal choice for any meal of the day.
As a food reviewer for Foodjoyy, I had the pleasure of exploring this family-owned gem, renowned not just for its food but also for its warm service and community vibe. The moment you step inside, you can feel the camaraderie among patrons and staff—a testament to the welcoming nature of the establishment.
When it comes to the menu, Stick's Tavern excels in offering tasty, hearty dishes. Patrons rave about their cheeseburgers, which are regularly highlighted as some of the best in the area. The combination of juicy meat and perfectly toasted buns provides a satisfying bite that stands out from typical tavern fare. Reviewers like Amy Beireis appreciate the delicious options available, including notable dishes like the rich brisket and creamy mac and cheese, an experience that David DeCesare found to be surprisingly delightful, given the tavern’s unassuming exterior.
One of the highlights is the Sunday brunch, which offers a variety of simple yet delightful breakfast items. While some guests, like Sharon Doig, expressed a desire for sweeter options such as caramel or cinnamon rolls, the quality of the offerings remains commendable and reasonably priced, making it a great choice for families seeking a casual meal.
Service at Stick's Tavern consistently receives glowing reviews. Guests have noted the attentive nature of staff members who go the extra mile, creating unforgettable experiences. From playful interactions during Purse Bingo to accommodating children at the stuffed animal machine, the little things truly make a big impact on your visit, as Andrea Hansel experienced during her time there.

“ Did the Sunday Brunch for the first time. It was nothing fancy. A good selection of simple breakfast items. However, I wished they would have had caramel rolls or cinnamon rolls instead of plain Hawaiian buns to go with the soup or biscuits to go with the gravy. But everything was good. Would go back again. Very reasonably priced ”
“ Food was delicious. I had a Cheeseburger my friend had a Clubhouse. Purse Bingo was fun! Our server Anna was very attentive and kind. Would recommend this place for anyone looking for a great meal and a fun, laid back atmosphere. ”
“ My wife and I had the Brisket and Mac which tasted amazing and the portion size was more than enough for dinner. The service staff was friendly and attentive. It was definitely a pleasant surprise when you don't know what to expect from a tavern ”
“ Good food, drinks, pricing, and people. One of the workers saw my kids having a hard time at the stuffed animal machine and opened it up so they could pick what they wanted. The little things are the big things. :) ”
“ We had an awesome time this past Saturday at Stick’s Tavern! It’s a total hidden gem, one of the best bar burgers I’ve had. It’s a fun atmosphere, family owned and we were treated like gold the whole time. Highly recommend, we will be back! Thanks guys! ”
“ The BEST experience ever!!! We came to celebrate our graduation and the staff were so nice, congratulating us, and giving us a separate room to enjoy. The manager was so cool and was the kindest ever! The atmosphere and food was incredible and somewhere everyone should try! ”
“ Went Saturday for Jonny B's rib night. I'll be back. Ribs were done just as I like them. A little smoke flavor. Tender and juicy but still had to pull from the bone. Nice job on the beans and mac as well! ”
“ Always good time! Bingo on Wednesday with Great buffet! ”
